GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to recruit knowledgeable and motivated Mathematics Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield . We are interested in qualified educators who can explain mathematical concepts clearly, adapt their teaching to different ability levels, and encourage learners to develop strong numerical and problem-solving skills.

As a Math Teacher , you will deliver clear and structured lessons that help students understand key mathematical concepts, improve their reasoning, and prepare effectively for assessments and examinations.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons in line with curriculum requirements
* Teach key topics including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics
* Adapt activities to support students with different levels of ability
* Encourage learners to develop independent reasoning and problem-solving skills
* Monitor progress through classwork, homework, tests, and assessments
* Provide revision support and prepare students for examinations

Math Teacher Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
* Previous experience teaching Mathematics within a school
* Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
* Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively
* Good planning, communication, and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
