Temporary 3rd Engineer Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a passenger vessel on a temporary contract. Contract Details Contract Type: Temporary Dates: 07 August – 12 September Salary: USD 4,487 (plus holiday pay paid at the end of the disembarkation month)The Role Reporting to the Staff Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient engine watch, operating and monitoring engine room machinery, carrying out maintenance duties, and supporting the engineering team in the day-to-day operation of the vessel. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, reporting defects, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Essential Certification Candidates must hold: Engine Officer Licence High Voltage Certificate Medical First Aid Advanced Fire Fighting Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) Basic Safety Training (BST) Yellow Fever Vaccination Seaman's Book Valid Passport STCW Seafarer Medical Certificate If you are available for the contract dates and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
