We're looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our growing UK manufacturing team, supporting a modern blended powder manufacturing facility supplying high-quality nutritional and food products.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine process engineering, automation, manufacturing systems, digital technologies and continuous improvement to help deliver a smarter, more connected manufacturing operation.
Working across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and IT, you'll lead projects that improve equipment performance, manufacturing efficiency, data integration and production reliability while supporting our Industry 4.0 strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead the installation, commissioning and optimisation of manufacturing equipment and process lines.
- Integrate machinery with manufacturing and business systems, including Infor M3 , production reporting and quality systems.
- Develop and support PLC, HMI and SCADA solutions.
- Improve production data capture, reporting and operational analytics.
- Deliver automation, digitalisation and continuous improvement projects.
- Support capital investment projects from concept through to implementation.
- Work with equipment manufacturers, automation suppliers and systems integrators.
- Drive improvements in OEE, downtime, throughput, yield and process reliability.
We're Looking For Someone With Experience In
- Food, nutrition, powder, dairy, pharmaceutical, ingredients or FMCG manufacturing.
- Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
- PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Manufacturing systems integration.
- SCADA and HMI development.
- Industrial communications (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC-UA, Modbus).
- SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript or PowerShell.
- Microsoft Azure, Power BI and Power Platform.
- ERP integration, ideally Infor M3 .
- Capital projects, continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
