Hours of work: 20 hours per week - 17.5 hours as Teaching Assistant 3, 2.5 hours as Midday Supervisory Assistant

Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Chiddingly Primary School is a small, thriving, friendly, village school, with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff and happy children. We have mixed-age classes for KS1 and KS2 with Reception on its own.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, self-motivated and creative Teaching Assistant. Are you enthusiastic, motivated and friendly ideally with experience working in schools? Do you have a real love of children and a desire to provide outstanding learning?

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team, with proven experience or training in supporting children across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will have a solid working knowledge of specialist primary interventions—including Sensory Circuits, Emotional Regulation frameworks, Speech and Language strategies, and Occupational Therapy. Working closely alongside class teachers, you will support daily teaching and learning as well as delivering targeted provision for pupils. Excellent time management, flexibility and strong communication skills are essential to build positive relationships with children, school staff and visiting professionals. Crucially, you will need strong observation and record-keeping skills to track progress effectively and support each child's individual learning goals and next steps.
