Job Title: Social Worker - Adults Safeguarding Team Specialism: Adult Social Work Location: Nottingham, UK Salary: £30 per hour Contract: Locum, Full Time, 3 Months
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team in Nottingham. This full-time locum position offers £30 per hour over an initial three-month contract, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and variety that locum work provides. Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and safeguarding plans.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, identifying and managing risks appropriately.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
Provide advice, guidance, and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote wellbeing and independence. Qualifications and Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
Current registration with Social Work England.
Previous experience within Adult Social Care, with experience in safeguarding desirable.
Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding legislation, and relevant statutory guidance.
Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
