Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking to develop your career in medicines safety and governance? Are you keen to progress, while working alongside a team of professionals that make a real difference to patient care? As Medicines Safety and Governance Pharmacy Technician you will join our friendly Pharmacy team at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) and play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality Pharmacy Service and promoting and improving the safe use of medicines. We have a fully electronic patient record and prescribing system which is increasing the involvement and engagement of patients, carers and staff, transforming clinical services and care. This role is suitable for registered Pharmacy technicians that have significant experience in hospital pharmacy who can show initiative.
Working Pattern: 27 hours per week

Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working. Please note that in order to deliver a high standard of care to patients the Pharmacy service operates 7 days a week and staff are therefore required to work some weekends as part of their contracted hours.
This post has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children and in line with Trust policy successful applicants will be required to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure Check/Enhanced Disclosure Check.
