Senior Science Technician – Lead Biology Prep, Maintain Ecosystems, and Support Fieldwork – Bromley
A high-achieving school in Bromley is recruiting a meticulous Senior Science Technician to lead the support for the Biology curriculum, with an emphasis on ecology, from January 2026.
- Senior Science Technician (Biology) required from January 2026.
- Bromley-based school with excellent grounds and facilities (South East).
- Seeking a specialist to lead Biology prep, maintain greenhouses, and support fieldwork .
You will be responsible for preparing all Biology practicals, maintaining the school's greenhouse and pond/ecology areas, and managing the specialized equipment (microscopes, models). This role is key to ensuring the success of A-Level practical endorsements and field trips.
Experience and Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Science Technician, specializing in Biology up to A-Level.
- Strong expertise in microscopy, dissection, culturing, and maintaining biological samples/ecosystems .
- Excellent knowledge of CLEAPSS and safety regulations related to biological materials.
- Proven ability to support and organize external fieldwork logistics.
