A vibrant, multicultural 11-18 academy in Leicester is looking for a creative and committed Drama Teacher to join its Performing Arts faculty. The school is open to applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours, and welcomes teachers who want to use drama as a tool for building confidence and community within a richly diverse student population.

You will teach Drama across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), with a focus on devising work that reflects and celebrates the cultural diversity of the school's community. There will be opportunities to run an after-school drama club and to contribute to the school's annual show, working alongside colleagues in Music and Art on whole-school events. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of student progress, ensuring safe practice in the drama studio, and supporting students preparing for performance-based assessments.

Requirements

• Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field, and QTS

• Experience teaching GCSE Drama and directing youth productions

• Strong classroom and studio management skills

• A flexible, team-oriented approach, whether working full-time or part-time
