Little Munden Equestrian, Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire Experienced Livery Groom, Live In (required - free on-site), 5 day week on 7 day rolling rota.

The job:

• This is not just a mucking out job!
• normal yard work (you will be mucking out average 6 per day).
• daily riding - schooling /hacking/ lunging. A range of lovely horses from semi-retired hackers to competition horses.
• on the job training offered.
• PLUS we finish on time!

Part of this job involves supervision of the staff team assisting our Yard Manager, therefore experience of managing a small staff team is preferable.

High personal and professional standards with attention to detail. Physically fit and have the experience to understand the pressures of working on a professional 5 livery yard with high standards, that must be maintained. Cheerful, with good people skills. Good time management skills with ability to adapt to the changing needs of the day.

Live in required Farm house on site (parts of this house are 200 yrs old, it is quirky, clean, tidy and rent FREE), shared with 1 other staff member, own bedroom, shared bathrooms/lounge etc. Rent free, just share of utility bills. Must be no smoker and no vaper No pets or partners (apart from occasional guests) in the accommodation.

Please note: the accommodation is only available to over 18 yrs.

High rate of pay, 5 day week on a 7 day rolling rota, excellent working conditions, plenty of riding, purpose built yard, uniform, 28 days paid holiday, legal contract of employment. Great team to work with, lovely livery owners and horses. Reduced cost livery may be available to the right person, after a trial period.
