Project Manager - Energy Trading - 6-Month Contract | Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite (London)
We are looking for a commercially minded Project Manager to support the initiative as it moves into its next phase, with a particular focus on establishing the operational and commercial processes required to support its ongoing delivery.
This is a role for someone who can bring structure to a developing proposition, think beyond traditional project management and help determine how processes should work effectively in practice. Key responsibilities

This is a role for someone who can bring structure to a developing proposition, think beyond traditional project management and help determine how processes should work effectively in practice. Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project activities across multiple business functions.
- Shape and establish operational processes and ways of working.
- Support the onboarding of new parties and manage associated activities.
- Coordinate commercial and contractual requirements, working closely with internal legal teams.
- Manage dependencies, risks, actions and key delivery milestones.
- Work across commercial, operational, legal, trading and technology stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and develop practical solutions.
- Support the transition of the initiative into an effective and sustainable operational model.
- Strong Project Management experience within complex commercial environments.
- Experience within energy trading, wholesale energy or commodity markets would be beneficial
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to understand the wider business implications of delivery decisions.
- Experience supporting the launch or implementation of new products, services or commercial propositions.
- Experience with customer, supplier, partner or counterparty onboarding.
- Exposure to contractual processes and experience working alongside legal teams.
- Strong process design and operational readiness experience.
- Comfortable working in environments where not everything has already been defined.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
