Full-time leadership role | September start
Our client is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Head of Mathematics to join an established independent school in Southampton from September. This is a full-time leadership position, ideal for a strong practitioner with proven departmental impact and a clear vision for curriculum development.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of Mathematics across KS3 & KS4, with strong KS5 provision. You will oversee curriculum planning, assessment and data analysis, staff development, and quality assurance, ensuring consistently high standards across pure mathematics, statistics, and mechanics.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge across Mathematics with the ability to teach to KS5
Proven leadership experience or readiness for a Head of Department role
Track record of raising attainment and supporting staff development
