£12.71 per hour plus holiday pay
Sir John Lawes School has a requirement to appoint additional members to its team of committed, friendly exam invigilators. The main external examination season runs in May and June; however, you will also need to be available for a minimum of 4 sessions (mornings and/or afternoons) per week during all of the following exam sessions:
Tuesday 24 Nov-Friday 18 December GCSE Mock Exams
Wednesday 6-Friday 22 January BTEC External Assessments & A Level Mock Exams
Monday 12 April – Friday 7 May Year 12 Internal Exams, GCSE Speaking Exams, A Level and GCSE Art Exams
Summer Public Exams Monday 10 May – 18 June
Monday 14 -Friday 25 June Yr10 Internal Exams
There will also be external assessments throughout the year which will need invigilation.
You must be punctual, have a flexible attitude to work, be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and possess good communication and IT skills. You must be available from 8.00am to 12.30pm for morning sessions and from 12.45pm to 4.30pm for afternoon sessions.
