What you will do:

* Conduct post-mortem examinations and work closely with pathologists to help determine causes of death.
* Maintain precise records and reports, ensuring all findings are documented accurately.
* Safeguard specimens through meticulous sample management and processing.
* Manage and maintain mortuary facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
* Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
* Liaise with a diverse range of professionals and relatives, demonstrating compassion, sensitivity, and clear communication.
* Work within health and safety regulations, applying best practice to all procedures.

Qualifications and requirements:

* HCPC registration is essential.
* A minimum of two years' experience in a similar anatomical pathology or mortuary role is required.
* A valid driving licence is preferable, as travel between sites may be required.
