Senior Engineering Manager

We are currently working with a leading UK Facilities Management service provider to recruit a Senior Engineering Manager for a prestigious commercial office/banking building in the Canary Wharf area This is based on site full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week Main responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and management for a large-scale Engineering and Fabric Team across the client's Building and London Corporate Satellite Sites.
• Collaborate with the Campus facilities team to support and achieve the objectives set by the General Manager and client team.
• Ensure proper coordination among the Engineering and Fabric teams in fulfilling tasks assigned by managers, enabling work completion within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to meet contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) according to established schedules, ensuring statutory compliance and adherence to industry standards.

• Suitably qualified in an Electrical/Mechanical engineering discipline – HNC/ONC/C&G
• ILM Level 3, 4 or equivalent
• Experience in a banking environment with multi-site locations.
• 10 years of experience managing large engineering operations.
• >5 Years Critical Engineering management experience
• Evidence Training and competence in managing High Risk Works (HV and LV Electrical, Pressure Systems, Confined Spaces)
• Experience as an Authorised Person and working within an AP appointment & management process.
• Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certificate
• Evidence Training and competence in Safe Systems of Work
• Have good communication skills verbally, in writing, and by telephone
• Good Leadership & Management skills
