Teaching Personnel are recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support our Primary schools across Monmouthshire from September 2026 .
This is one of our busiest areas for school staffing, and we are looking to build a strong pool of local people who are interested in starting a career in education.
No qualifications or school experience are required.
If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with children and are willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
• Support children across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Work alongside teachers to support learning in the classroom
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed
• Help pupils stay engaged and focused throughout the school day
• Support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN/SEN)
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Training & Support Provided

• Assistance with DBS and EWC registration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
