Salary: £23,000 – £26,500 per annum (pro-rata, depending on experience)

About the Role:

Starting immediately, you will take total ownership of the school's reprographics hub. This role requires an individual who can comfortably handle technical machinery, navigate digital files, and maintain a cheerful, service-oriented presence when handling requests from a large team of educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill day-to-day reprographics needs including high-speed printing, multi-page booklet production, cutting, and folding.

• Assist in creating and printing school promotional materials, banners, and newsletters for external community events.

• Manage the electronic submission platform for printing requests, keeping staff updated on job progress.

• Ensure that all copyright regulations and licensing laws are strictly adhered to before copying material.

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and coordinate with leasing companies for major servicing.

• Maintain paper and toner stock levels, ensuring the print room never runs low during peak terms.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a school reprographics department, commercial print shop, or administrative resource hub.

• Proficient technical skills, with a strong understanding of print layouts, paper weights, and finishing styles.

• Excellent interpersonal habits, with the confidence to communicate production timelines clearly to staff.

• High level of attention to detail to catch formatting or layout errors before printing bulk runs.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to print room machinery and chemical toners.
