We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well‑established food manufacturing business based in Shoreham‑by‑Sea. This is an excellent temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity for candidates who are reliable, motivated, and looking for long‑term, full‑time work. While full training is provided, previous experience in food production, manufacturing or similar environments is preferred.
As a Food Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in the creation of high‑quality food products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, crafting, and assembling food products using cutting, mixing, and production equipment
- Transporting products around the facility using trolleys
- Handling raw ingredients and ensuring they meet quality requirements
- Conducting product quality checks to maintain food safety standards
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene throughout the production area
The working hours for this role will be working either the AM Shift (6am-2pm), PM shift (2pm-10pm) or night shift (10pm-6am) The hourly rate for this role is paying between £13.14-£14.27 per hour.
