Salary: up to 35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time | 37.5 hours per week
Location: Sheffield

We’re working with a respected independent optical business operating across several well-established practices in Sheffield. Known for its strong community presence, personal service, and high standards of patient care, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has invested heavily into its stores and is looking for a driven leader to take ownership and help maximise its potential.

This is not just a role focused on maintaining the status quo – the successful candidate will be someone who is commercially focused, confident making decisions, and motivated by achieving measurable results. You’ll be given the autonomy and responsibility to make a real impact, driving performance, developing the team, and helping the business continue to grow.

Important Requirement:
You must have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.

What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Store Manager who can take ownership of the practice and deliver strong commercial results.

• Proven experience managing an optical store or practice, with an understanding of KPIs and business performance
• A track record of achieving results and improving store performance
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team to reach their full potential
• The ability to manage difficult conversations and handle conflict resolution professionally and effectively
• A hands-on approach, actively supporting the team while also identifying ways to grow the business
• Strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for delivering excellent patient experiences
