Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Help operate Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability tooling in production.
- Investigate and resolve platform issues, participate in incident response and on-call rotations, and improve systems after incidents.
- Support progressive rollouts, canary deployments, safe rollbacks, CI/CD, developer tooling, and self-service platform adoption.
- Partner with engineering teams on infrastructure, database, deployment, security, and policy-as-code best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, pairing, code reviews, and increasing ownership of platform components.
Requirements
- Practical experience deploying and supporting applications running on Kubernetes.
- Experience with a cloud platform, ideally AWS, and working knowledge of infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
- Experience with modern CI/CD tooling and scripting in at least one of TypeScript/Node, Python, or Go.
- Grounding in Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and resolving operational issues.
- Useful experience includes Terragrunt, Helm, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, PostgreSQL, MySQL, developer-experience or internal-platform improvements, and security tooling or policy-as-code.
