* No weekend working as standard The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a varied fleet of commercial and municipal vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and operational at all times. Duties will include: * Routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs and fleet vehicles
* Working on refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) and municipal vehicles
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Carrying out inspections, safety checks, and preventative maintenance
* Preparing vehicles to DVSA standards
* Completing maintenance records and job documentation accurately
* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures Requirements * Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, LGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Good understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
