Interim Finance Manager
Location: Chessington, Surrey – mainly office–based Contract: Interim, 3–4 months
Savant is seeking a hands–on Interim Finance Manager for a fast–growing services business. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing the company's day–to–day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting business planning, and providing financial insight across the organisation. The role will work closely with operational, commercial, and project teams.
Responsibilities
Manage monthly accounts, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.
Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and cost analysis.
Oversee operational finance, including AP/AR, billing, and cash flow management.
Provide financial oversight for project budgets and infrastructure investments.
Optimise finance systems and internal processes for reporting efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide financial insights.
Key Skills/Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong Excel skills.
- Proven experience in financial control and Xero (essential)
- Hands–on experience in an SME environment
