Job description
Our client, a key player in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking an experienced EC&I Inspector with SC Clearance to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial to the safe and efficient operation of nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems
- Ensuring all EC&I components meet stringent quality and safety standards
- Preparing detailed reports on the condition and compliance of inspected systems
- Identifying any areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborating with engineering and safety teams to ensure ongoing compliance
- Providing technical guidance and support during inspections
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all inspections
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Current SC Clearance is essential
- Experience in EC&I inspection within the nuclear sector
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and reporting skills
