About the service
At our Forfar Housing Support Service, no two days are the same. We proudly support 4 adults—each with their own unique personalities, strengths and needs—across their own tenancies.
Role includes
- Delivering a varied range of personal care
- Supporting people through behaviours that may challenge you
- Manual handling and Wheelchair pushing
- Administering and supporting with medication
- Cooking/Meal Preparation and Menu planning
- Support with household tasks including cleaning and shopping
- Provide support with finances
- Support to go on holidays or short breaks
- Writing and maintaining support plans and risk assessments
Shift pattern
Shift pattern includes a variety of earlies, lates, and waking night shifts, offering a flexible working structure. Team members work either alone or in a 2:1 arrangement, but always support just one individual to ensure person centred care. Shifts are assigned through a rota system, to maintain consistency and fairness across the team.
