We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students throughout the lesson.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.
• Support the wider school community when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students.
• A flexible, professional, and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting students in their education.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
