Vehicle Technician Tonbridge, Kent £34,000 - £37,000 Basic + OTE £41,000+ Full-Time, Permanent | Monday-Friday + Saturday Rota Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester looking for your next career move? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established and professional automotive workshop in Tonbridge. The Role As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out MOT tests, servicing and vehicle repairs
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Carrying out road tests to confirm repairs have been completed correctly
- Checking tyres, brakes, lights and mechanical/electrical components
- Fitting customer-requested accessories
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience
- A current MOT Tester Licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail

- £34,000 - £37,000 basic salary, depending on qualifications and experience
