Senior Mechanical Engineer, Water Projects
Temporary, Full-time
- Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support
- Produce Plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES Data Sheets, Valve schedules, Equipment Schedules, lifting strategies, hydraulic headloss calculations and P&IDs. For Water Projects
- Liaise and collaborate with our water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide
- Visit site to carry surveys and support of liaisons with clients, contractors & suppliers
- Attend and contribute design review meeting such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS
- Line Manage and mentor Junior and Graduate Mechanical Engineers
- Complete Checking of Mechanical Deliverables produced by other Engineers Ready to push the limits of what's possible? Here's what we're looking for:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
- Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution, such as IMechE
- A proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations with confidence and precision
