GSL Education are seeking dependable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Doncaster .

As a Cover Supervisor , you will take responsibility for delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced education professionals looking to develop their classroom skills and make a meaningful impact in schools.

Main Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

* Supervise classes across a variety of subjects during teacher absences

* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure learning objectives are met

* Maintain a calm, organised, and productive classroom environment

* Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies

* Support students with their learning and encourage active participation

* Provide clear instructions and guidance throughout lessons

* Communicate any concerns or incidents to relevant members of staff

* Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:

* Experience working with young people is desirable

* Confidence in leading a classroom independently

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Ability to follow lesson plans and school procedures effectively

* A flexible, professional, and proactive attitude

* A genuine passion for education and student success

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
