This market leading FTSE 250 business operating in over 10 countries across Europe is seeking an Interim VAT Manager to deal with both historic and current tax issues. Joining a well established, yet small tax team of 2, this is an exciting opportunity to have a very hands on approach and have a key influence within business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the group’s current VAT situation and structuring, providing advice on key areas for improvement
- Understand the business operations and advise on VAT implications for business activity, liaising closely with various teams
- Provide the group with VAT advice across all areas of the business
- Answer group queries on VAT
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/AIIT qualified or qualified by experience (potentially with HMRC training)
- Good Excel skills, experience of SAP would be beneficial
- Proven VAT knowledge within multinational in-house tax teams
- Broad indirect tax experience across compliance and advisory
- Highly personable, eager to communicate and interact with various teams in group
