Dairy Engineer / Technician – £30,000 – £50,000 + Benefits 

Field-based role covering:
- Herefordshire
- Worcestershire
- Gloucestershire
- Shropshire
- Warwickshire
- Monmouthshire

The Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Dairy Engineer / Technician to join a growing agricultural engineering business specialising in conventional and robotic milking systems. This is a field based position involving the installation, maintenance and servicing of dairy equipment across the Midlands and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain conventional and robotic milking equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Provide excellent customer support on site
- Participate in an on call rota as required
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

The Candidate: 
- Electrical knowledge and fault finding ability
- Interest in modern robotic dairy technology
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Dairy industry or farming environment experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Full training will be provided for the right candidate

The Package: 
- Salary £30,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
- Service vehicle provided after qualifying period
- Mobile phone and laptop supplied
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Participation in an on-call rota is required

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
