Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Gloucester, looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join its friendly and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a varied client portfolio whilst continuing to develop your technical knowledge and progress your career within practice.

As an Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:

-Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

-Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns

-Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping assignments

-Building positive relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting queries

-Working closely with senior members of the team to ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

-Supporting your ongoing professional development through practical experience and technical training

The successful Accounts Semi Senior candidate will:

Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident preparing accounts for a range of clients.

You'll ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA, although candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning will all be key to success in this role.
