30 Hours Available Transform Voices, Change lives Are you a passionate Speech and Language therapist with a keen interest in Voice disorders? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead and continue to develop the Voice disorders service across North Cumbria. This is an exciting opportunity to develop their clinical and leadership skills within this specialist role and continue to link with ENT colleagues. The post holder will be responsible for the highly specialist assessment, treatment, planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence based Speech and Language Therapy intervention to adult patients with laryngeal symptoms (voice change; persistent laryngeal symptoms) This post will primarily be based at Workington Community Hospital but there will be a requirement to travel around North Cumbria. The North Cumbria Speech and Language Therapy team is a small, friendly, supportive team with good opportunities for ongoing training. - Degree in Speech and Language Therapy approved by RCSLT.
- Registration with HCPC.
- Ongoing Membership with the RCSLT.
- Evidence of formal training/ specialist experience to Masters Level equivalently in dysphonia
- Training in conducting and interpreting video laryngeal endoscopy.
- Membership of appropriate CEN
