We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Springhill House in Accrington .
Springhill House has been specially designed to meet the needs of 116 residents living with a range of physical, age-related and mental health conditions. Our team is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for making a positive difference every day.

This role offers a great work-life balance with a regular rota of 34 hours per week , working four 8.5-hour shifts (8.00am – 5.30pm) on an alternate weekend pattern.
Your working pattern will be:
Week 1: Two weekday shifts and Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Four weekday shifts

Responsibilities of our Catering Assistant
Preparing meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements
Carrying out quality checks on food preparation and storage
Assisting with food service to provide a dignified dining experience
Maintaining stock records in line with company policy and food safety regulations
Ordering stock and keeping accurate records
Maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen and supporting with deep cleaning duties
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference to our residents' lives.
Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable, along with a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.
