Our Client is looking for a Maths Teacher to work within a large, inclusive mixed secondary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and Year 10 only, delivering engaging lessons that promote confidence and understanding in mathematics.
School Information
This 11–16 comprehensive serves around 1,150 pupils and continues to make excellent progress, with 91% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Maths department is well-equipped, featuring modern technology, structured schemes of work and a collaborative approach to planning and assessment.
Teachers describe the school as supportive, organised and improvement-focused. The leadership team places great emphasis on professional development, staff wellbeing and consistency in teaching practice. The department has a strong team ethos, where teachers share resources, exchange feedback and work together to drive student outcomes.
This role would suit a dedicated and adaptable teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in helping students grow in confidence and capability.
Experience and Qualifications
• Maths Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and Year 10
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
• Legal right to work within the UK
