A premier disputes-focused US law firm in London, known for its principled stance and exceptional litigation pedigree. With a clear strategic gap for a senior commercial arbitration partner, this law firm is actively seeking to recruit a commercial arbitration partner in the London office. The firm generally works opposite States.
While not driven by ideology, the firm's values-led approach has become a defining feature of its identity, creating a palpable sense of purpose and pride across the partnership. The firm has already seen the benefit of this (although unintentional) with some significant disputes hires in the US, with leading lawyers joining from elite law firms, attracted by the firm's ethos and wanting to be a part of something special.
The London team is a cornerstone of the firm's global disputes practice, and with strong UK leadership - including a UK Managing Partner who sits on the global board - there is a clear runway for a new partner to be positioned for success. The platform is exceptionally well-suited to support and elevate a senior arbitration practitioner, offering a culture of cross-border collaboration and integrity.
This will be a strong law firm brand from which to build a practice. The firm/platform naturally attracts work and while the lawyers (many of the partners have joined from UK firms) are expected to engage in business development, they find the firm's emphasis on collaboration in their approach to origination credit, truly makes it a team effort which is supportive (particularly for new recruits) and rewarding.
