Candidate Requirements

• Student Attainment: Experience in tracking student progress, evaluating essay writing skills, and running targeted intervention sessions to boost GCSE literacy levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Set structured homework, mark assessments consistently, and provide detailed feedback to guide pupil improvement.

• Prepare Key Stage 4 cohorts effectively for GCSE examination components, reading comprehension, and creative writing modules.

• Participate in departmental planning, moderation exercises, and extra-curricular reading groups or debate clubs.
