Work within the school’s SEN unit, supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs through structured classroom support, 1:1 work, and small-group intervention. You will help pupils follow routines, access learning, regulate behaviour, and build confidence, while working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to monitor progress. SEN teaching assistants support teachers to help children with disabilities and special educational needs, and schools are expected to use the SEND Code of Practice when identifying needs, putting support in place, and reviewing impact. - Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

- Career Goals – A desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.
