Job Title: Referral Veterinary Nurse – Ampthill
Location: Ampthill
Employment Type: Part-Time flexible shifts
Salary: £22000 – £32000 per year pro rata depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and professional Referral Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly veterinary team in Ampthill . This is an excellent part-time opportunity for someone passionate about animal welfare and high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality nursing care across inpatients and day cases.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work.
- Monitor anesthesia from induction through recovery.
- Maintain stock, equipment and theatre hygiene.
- Provide clear aftercare advice to clients.
Requirements
- RCVS registered veterinary nurse
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Ability to work well within a team.
