ICON seeks a Site Contracts Negotiator II to draft, negotiate, and maintain clinical trial agreements and amendments with sponsors and CROs on behalf of Accellacare Site Network. The role involves stakeholder communication, risk identification, and cross-functional collaboration to support clinical trial operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize clinical trial agreements and complex amendments
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract progress and timelines
- Identify and escalate contractual risks with proposed mitigation strategies
- Participate in study team calls and collaborate cross-functionally on site startup and maintenance activities
- Mentor junior site contracts team members and contribute to departmental initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- 3–6 years clinical research industry experience with direct site contract negotiation
- Proven ability to manage contract and budget negotiations with investigative sites
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and site contracting activities
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
