EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Peterlee Full-Time | Specialist SEN School A specialist SEN school in Peterlee is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within an early years setting from September. This nurturing provision supports young children with Autism, communication needs and developmental delays. The school focuses heavily on sensory learning, communication development and emotional wellbeing. Responsibilities: Supporting pupils within the EYFS classroomAssisting with play-based and sensory learning activitiesEncouraging communication and social interactionSupporting routines, transitions and emotional regulationWorking closely with teachers and therapists The successful candidate will: Have experience working with EYFS or SEN pupilsBe nurturing, patient and enthusiasticUnderstand the importance of early interventionHave strong communication and teamwork skills This role would suit candidates from education, nursery, childcare or care backgrounds.
