Secondary Math Teacher - Maternity Cover - Term 1&2 Aug 2026

We are looking to appoint an experienced Secondary Math Teacher to cover maternity leave for the period of Term 1 and 2 with the possibility of a full time contract at a later date. Starting date will be 20 August 2026. The successful candidate will be working alongside other experienced team members to promote the strategic vision of the school and will be capable of teaching across all secondary Key Stages.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Engineering with PGCE or equivalent. 

● Qualified Teacher with 3-5 years of experience in delivering the National Curriculum for England.

● Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the schools vision, mission and values.

● Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives.

● Teachers with a natural desire to learn, contribute to and participate in the schools Professional Learning Community.

● Skilled at using digital tools to ensure that learning is enriched and relevant so as to complement the schools ‘Apple Distinguished School’ status.

● A professional who works collaboratively both within the immediate team and across the wider school community.

Initial long list interviews will be conducted via Zoom. Candidates who successfully reach the short-list may be asked to do a demo-lesson and will attend a full interview with key leaders. Where possible, this will be in-person.
