Food & Beverage Team MemberLocation: Hotel Santa Maria – Blackpool Seafront About the Role Hotel Santa Maria is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and professional Waiters / Waitresses to join our growing hospitality team. The role involves delivering excellent customer service within our restaurant, breakfast service, bar, and food service operations. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, remain calm under pressure, and help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hospitality and enjoys being part of a busy hotel environment. Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
Welcome guests politely and professionally
Take food and drink orders accurately
Serve meals and beverages efficiently
Provide attentive and friendly customer service
Assist guests with enquiries and requests
Help create a positive dining experience
Restaurant Operations
Prepare restaurant and dining areas before service
Clear and reset tables promptly
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards
Assist with breakfast, lunch, evening, and event service
Support bar and function operations where required
Teamwork
Work closely with kitchen, reception, and housekeeping teams
Assist colleagues during busy periods
Communicate effectively with supervisors and management
Standards & Compliance
Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Maintain professional appearance and conduct
Handle guest interactions calmly and professionally
Support high hospitality standards across the hotel
Essential Skills & Qualities We are looking for someone who: Has excellent customer service skills
Is friendly, approachable, and professional
Works well under pressure
Has strong communication skills
Is reliable and punctual
Has a positive and team-focused attitude
Is flexible with working hours including weekends
Desirable Experience
Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar, or hotel experience
Experience using tills or taking customer payments
Food hygiene knowledge or certification
