Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a roster system
Shift times: Earlies 06:30 – 14:30; Lates 12:00 – 19:30

Your day-to-day as Kitchen Assistant
- Working within a team to maintain cleaning standards within kitchen and dining rooms using a roster system
- Serve food to pupils and school staff within a boarding school environment
- Support with kitchen checklists and post-service analysis
- Follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards
- Take part in ongoing training and development.
- Take deliveries.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous kitchen experience would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given.
- Willingness to complete via our e-learning on food safety and Health and safety
- Effective communication and a team-first attitude.
Additional Requirements:
To be eligible, you must:
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be able to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) clearance via Disclosure Scotland and MoD BPSS security clearance.
