Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5/Year 6 Teacher to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of learning in our students. You will play a key role in supporting the academic and personal development of each child, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the ethos and values of a Church of England school.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love of learning.
• Effective classroom management skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
