DevSecOps Engineer Position Description

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. Your future duties and responsibilities
> Design & Secure Cloud Platforms across hyperscalers > Develop & Optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows > Automate & Provision Infrastructure using IaC tooling > Implement & Enhance containerisation and virtual environments > Embed & Advance observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)> Lead & Champion DevSecOps and SRE best practice > Mentor & Support engineers Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To succeed, you will bring hands-on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments, alongside strong scripting and automation expertise. You will be comfortable working across infrastructure, platforms and pipelines, with a proactive approach to security, reliability and continuous improvement. Essential qualifications: > You should have hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud)> Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)> Proven ability to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines > Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting solutions > Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go or similar > Demonstrable experience embedding security within DevOps practices > Proven ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others #LI-JS2 Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
