Commis Chef - Foxhill Manor

We’re looking for a dedicated and ambitious  Commis Chef  to join our award-winning team at  Foxhill Manor  — one of the Cotswolds’ most distinctive boutique luxury hotels.

Foxhill Manor offers an intimate, refined dining experience with a strong focus on seasonal, ingredient-led cooking. As a Commis Chef, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, supportive brigade under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director  Martin Burge , giving you the perfect environment to build confidence, refine your core skills and progress your career.

You’ll be joining a calm, well-organised and well-equipped kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. If you’re keen to develop your craft and enjoy working with fresh, seasonal produce, this is a brilliant next step.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting your section to deliver consistently high-quality dishes

• Preparing ingredients and assisting with mise en place and service

• Working closely with senior chefs to learn and develop

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

• Helping to keep service smooth, efficient and professional

• Contributing to stock control, prep and organisation

• Experience working with fresh, seasonal produce in a quality-led kitchen

• A strong work ethic and commitment to learning

• A reliable, positive and professional approach

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A desire to grow and progress in a structured, supportive environment

The details:

• £34,070 per year

• Plus service charge (£3,000–£3,500 OTE)

• Approximately £37,500 total earnings

• 48 hours per week

• Meals on duty and uniform provided

• Live-in accommodation available
