Job summary
We are seeking 3 motivated Band 6 Speech and Language Therapists to join our friendly and supportive Children's Speech and Language Therapy team on a 5-month fixed-term basis. These additional posts have been created to increase clinical capacity, reduce waiting times and improve access to assessment and intervention for children in Sutton. You will manage a varied paediatric caseload, carrying out assessments, delivering individual and group therapy, writing reports and working closely with families and multidisciplinary colleagues. The majority of the caseload will involve preschool and primary-aged children with speech, language and communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity for therapists with experience in paediatrics who enjoy direct clinical work and want to make a tangible impact by helping children access support sooner. In return, we offer regular clinical supervision and peer support along with the chance to work within a welcoming and experienced team committed to delivering high-quality care. If you are organised, flexible and passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, we would love to hear from you. These posts are offered on a fixed-term basis as part of a transformation project to reduce wait times within the service.
