Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable main dealership specialising in restorations, rebuilds, and modern vehicle servicing, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team in Exeter, Devon. - Supportive team environment with ongoing professional growth Duties of the Vehicle Technician include: - Conducting MOT testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on classic, Morgan, and modern vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and implementing effective repair solutions
- Assisting with vehicle restorations and rebuilds, particularly in classic and bespoke projects
- Maintaining detailed service and repair records accurately
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
- Supporting special projects involving vintage and classic cars as required Requirements of the Vehicle Technician: - Valid MOT Tester licence preferred
- Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent qualification
- Proven mechanical or heavy vehicle repair skills with strong diagnostic ability
- Experience working within main dealer or independent garage environments preferred
- Classic car restoration or bespoke project experience is highly advantageous
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-focused approach
