Process Engineer Shildon Full Time | Permanent As a Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of new or modified processes and minimise process losses and waste whilst upholding health and safety awareness in a high-volume laboratory and production environment. We are looking for someone who is ready to that can use statistical analysis data and apply the lean six-sigma approach to support the introduction of key improvements. Key Responsibilities

- Implement process improvements to support Strategic Improvement Initiatives such as Right First Time and Material Efficiency.
- Support with validation and qualification of new products/products requiring process transfer.
- Provide process support with batch issues, adjustments etc
- Assess process efficiency through laboratory testing and data analysis to meet client requirements and business needs.
- Write technical report and other documents to comply with Aerospace standards
- Introduce new or modified processes and supervise batches where required.
- Work in cross-functional teams and build good working relationships with others.
- Introduce and modify process instructions, recipes, routings, costings, batch sizes etc using the Oracle system.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach and deputise for other team members where necessary.
- Self-motivated and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- Good IT knowledge and skills (Microsoft Office- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Outlook, etc)
- Excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach while working in multiple projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence and motivate staff
- Able to follow PPG and departmental procedures
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or relevant science related subject.
- Experience of leading improvement projects and problem solving (Desirable).
- Experience of collecting and analysing complex set of data (Desirable).
- Knowledge and/or experience in a laboratory testing/manufacturing environment (Desirable).
