The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer .
Working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement projects across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working closely with production teams to maximise performance
What You'll Need
- Engineering qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or similar industries
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety best practice
- Proactive attitude towards improvement and reliability
