We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembler to join a busy and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electrical assembly or panel wiring experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and sub-assemblies.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Using a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
* Crimping, terminating, and connecting electrical components and cables.
* Carrying out basic testing and quality checks on completed assemblies.
* Assisting with soldering tasks where required (not essential).
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area.
* Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. The Candidate * Previous experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar manufacturing role.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely.
* Strong crimping and cable termination skills.
* Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
* Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
